HOBNOB Frankfurt Edition

hobnob is an exhibition format developed by Patricia Lambertus that focuses on encounters, exchange, and spatial relationships between artistic positions. Following editions in Berlin, the Frankfurt edition took place at the Hübner + Hübner Gallery.

Six female artists developed a complex system of paintings, installations, and site-specific works. The pieces were not isolated but entered into visual, spatial, and conceptual relationships—they overlapped, contradicted, commented on, and opened up new points of reference.

Hobnob understands encounter as a format not merely as an exhibition theme, but as an artistic and curatorial practice: as a process that unfolds in space and simultaneously keeps the independence of the individual positions visible.
